Model MSG

Alvarado’s rugged MSG self-closing full height security gates offer maximum security for indoor or outdoor access control applications.

Designed to operate independently, or in conjunction with full height turnstiles, all MSG gates feature fully welded tubular steel construction, and are available as a manual gate with deadbolt lock (MSG), or with electric lock control (MSGX) for integration with any access control system.

The MSG(X) swings in a single direction, and includes a hydraulically dampened self-closing mechanism to prevent slamming.

The gate allows convenient, yet secure access for delivery of packages and materials that won’t fit through a full height turnstile. MSG gates may also be used in place of a door where line of sight is desired.

Available options and features include card reader mounting plates, mechanical or electric push-release exit bars, welded steel mesh infill, and extended width gate arm configurations.

MSG gates may be ordered in galvanized steel, satin stainless steel, or a variety of durable powder coat finishes.

Model VMG

Alvarado’s VMG waist high security gates are designed to operate independently or in conjunction with Alvarado’s waist high turnstiles.

The attractively styled VMG provides a comfortable patron passage width that accommodates wheelchairs.

Designed to operate independently or in conjunction with Alvarado’s waist high turnstiles, VMG gates are solidly constructed from fully welded rectangular stainless steel. All gates include a kick plate and self-closing mechanism.

Single direction gates include a hydraulic dampener to minimize slamming during closure.

The standard model without locks (VMG) may be ordered as a single or bi-directional gate.

Single or bi-directional electrically locking gates that easily integrate with virtually any access control system are also available (VMGX). Single direction gates (VMGX) utilize a magnetic lock. Bi-directional models use a shear lock.

Available finishes include satin stainless steel and durable powder coat in a variety of colors.

Model VRG

The attractively styled VRG provides a comfortable passage width that accommodates wheelchairs.

Designed to operate independently or in conjunction with Alvarado’s waist high turnstiles, VRG gates are solidly constructed from fully welded tubular stainless steel.

All gates include a kick plate and self-closing mechanism. Single direction gates include a hydraulic dampener to minimize slamming during closure.

Single direction, electric lock gates are also available (VRGX). This model comes with an electric strike lock and easily integrates with virtually any access control or identification system.

Model SSG

Typically used with post and rail systems, Alvarado’s SSG is a waist high self-closing security gate that offers a passage width of approximately 36 inches.

SSG gates may be installed independently or in conjunction with Alvarado waist high turnstiles.

Engineered for durability, the SSG includes fully welded stainless steel construction, and a closure mechanism that self-closes the gate after passage.

The standard gate without locks (SSG) may be ordered as a single or bi-directional gate.

Single direction, electric lock gates are also available (SSGX). This model comes with an electric strike lock and easily integrates with virtually any access control or identification system.

Other options for the SSG(X) include an extended 42" gate arm assembly for applications requiring a wider passage width.
